Hello! I’m Carole Stables, and over the last thirty years I have been living my dream managing and running The Flower Stables. I originally trained at Sparsholt College and was awarded ‘Best Overall Performance’ on the course, at Winchester Cathedral. This amazing venue has remained at the centre of my career as I have since been honoured to display floral works at three Winchester Cathedral Flower Festivals (as well as decorate the venue for several weddings)!

A few highlights of my career are as follows - being selected by NAFAS to dress Westminster Abbey, winning ‘Commended’ at the Floral Art and Design Show (Business Design Centre, London), acting as Otterbourne Flower & Garden Club’s Chairman, training as a NAFAS Area Demonstrator and studying to be a Floral Design Tutor.

I have an eye for design and flowers are my passion, combining these two things and working alongside you as your selected florist is a genuine privilege and joy for me.

In my spare time, I love walking my dog (Daisy) amongst the natural snowdrops, bluebells or foxgloves - my daughter (Georgina) can often be found on these walks as well as supporting and assisting me at The Flower Stables when I need an extra pair of hands, or a coffee delivery!
